Upcoming Shows 2009 Coda San Francisco, CA November 19th, 2009 We played this club the first week they opened and it was fantastic. This time around we'll be sharing the night with a great friend and bass player Ken Russou and his band the Musashi Trio. We hit the stage at 9:00 p.m. sharp, come and see the coolest new venue in San Francisco! Grant & Green San Francisco, CA September 26th, 2009 Another great night in North Beach at one of our favorite Stages in the city. We'll be sharing the stage with Thump at 8:45 and First Born at Midnight. SPQ hit's the stage at 10:00 p.m. and plays until 11:30. Past Shows 2009 Smiley's Schooner Saloon Bolinas, CA Septmeber 6th, 2009 Forget Burning man, it's going to be a major blow out in Bolinas this Labor Day Weekend and we are going to be a part of it! Ace in the Hole Sebastapol, CA August 22nd, 2009 Huge Leo party planned up at the Russian River topped off with a performance at the Ace in the Hole! Cafe Van Kleef Oakland, CA August 10th, 2009 This place is looks like a hurricane went through an avante guard warehouse and left everything on the walls. They make amazing Greyhounds topped with a quarter wedge of ripe juicy grapefruit, they are amazing! I've been working on getting us in here for a while and things came together! We'll be brining it to the East Bay! Coda San Francisco, CA August 6th, 2009 San Francisco's newest music venue opened up this week and we got to throw down. What a beautiful room with a great sound system. The owners Chris and Bruce really know what they are doing. We hope to make this a regular gig. Smiley's Schooner Saloon Bolinas, CA July 31st, 2009 Were really looking forward to playing Bolinas again. This place is amazing! United Cancer Society's Relay for Life Soquel, CA July 17th, 2009 We will be performing in honor of Ken Yupponco once again! Giordano Brothers San Francisco, CA June 14th, 2009 Mike Myers, TJ Murphy, and Tom Gears will be jamming some tunes during the North Beach Festival just for the fun of playing. Come down and have a few beers and eat one of the amazing sandwiches that make Giordano Brothers so great. Bay to Breakers San Francisco, CA May 17th, 2009 I took every ounce of energy to get up after driving back from Mendocino on Saturday. I managed to load up the truck and make it out to our spot on the route by 6:15 a.m. and we played from 8:00-11:30 am. The crowd was having fun, I didn't notice the fun level turned down by much. Thank god I had that shade structure! It was hot!
Baconwood Festival Mendocino, CA May 15th, 2009 We had a blast with Inca Silver, and Kiyoshi Foster's band. The weather was perfect and the festival went off with out any major injury's and lot's of good music. I think 150lbs of bacon were consumed over the course of the event. Vegitarians need not apply. Ace in the Hole Sebastapol, CA March 13th, 2009 With out a doubt our best show to date! We really opened up the songs and ventured into new territory! I can't wait to see what happens at the next show. The staff and people at the venue were great. We'll be heading back there in August for a Saturday night. Grant & Green San Francisco, CA February 7th, 2009 Another great night in North Beach at one of our favorite Stages in the city. We rocked the house and so did the great opening band the Cuban Cigar Crisis, and the Kiyoshi Foster Group.
Giordano Brothers San Francisco, Ca January 17th, 2009 We played our first show of the year at our home away from home in North Beach. Two sets of funky jazz and some killer sandwiches! Past Shows 2008 Starry Plough Berkeley, CA December 11th, 2008 @ 10:15 p.m. We played our first show featuring our newest members. Ari Margolis on the Keys and TJ Murphy on the Drums. We played a solid set and got called back for an encore! We also had our friend Kiyoshi Foster play as well as our old keyboardists new band Funk Revival Orchestra. They were great! Boom Boom Room San Francisco, CA September 25th, 2008 Big Ken Russo put together a great night at the BBR! This was the last show with our original line up featuring Peter Petericka on Drums and Adan Shwartz on Keys. We had a blast and by all the dancing going on the crowd was grooving too!

Baconwood Festival and Bay to Breakers! Special thanks to Reid Spice for putting on the amazing event known as Baconwood Festival. I really had fun playing bass with Inca Silver on the first night. There was so many cool people doing art, and comedy as well. I have a feeling next year is going to be much bigger. Check out the website for updates on DJ's and Bands for next year at www.baconwoodfestival.com I also want to thank Joe Colgan, Adan Shwartz, Daniel Stark, and David Solomon for filling in at Bay to Breakers this year. It was the earliest i've gotten up in years. It was a blast and I'd do it again any time though.
SPQ rocked the house at Smiley's Saloon in Bolinas! There's something in the air in Bolinas, we played our best show ever on Saturday April, 25 2009! The people at the club and the owner Don Deane were great. We have all ready booked a few more shows and look forward to going back. Special thanks go out to Keith for keeping us supplied with beer after the show was over! We look forward to playing Smiley's in July! |
