Snake Plissken Quintet grabs the groove by the throat and wont let go until the last breath of melody has been squeezed out! The rhythm section lays down a fat groove and the soldiers go to work firing off original melodies and monster solo's. The band forges a sound based on the funk of The Meters, and Galactic, infused with the rock of Jeff Beck, and Carlos Santana, and steeped in the jazz of Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, and Billy Cobham. This band is playing the music that they love and it comes across big time at the shows. SPQ is playing a full night of music at Mojito in San Francisco's North Beach district. We'll be inviting some of our friends to join us on stage making some killer new music for you all to hear, plus we'll have a few special guest performances during the night.Our favorite bar tender Analiese will be serving up your favorite drinks all night long!

SPQ will be playing the Sunday Jazz brunch at Pier 23 on Sunday March 7th and we booked a show at the legendary Yoshi's in the lounge March 30th. We are looking forward to playing our new music for you all.
